Chris was born and slightly raised in Kigali, Rwanda.  Since then he has lived, studied or worked in several African countries, but considers eSwatini as ‘Home Sweet Home’.  Prior to joining Kwakha Indvodza in 2018, he led the Communication and Advocacy initiatives at the Youth Division of the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa.  Currently, he oversees the work of the KI’s Programmes Department, a dynamic team of young men and women tasked with positively impacting the lives of thousands of men through our projects.  He has a variety of interests, which can range from football to international relations to movies with explosions and he has been known to read and write for relaxation.  His favourite quote, both personally and professionally, is that ‘it is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men’.
