Tom Kwakha Indvodza’s Founding Executive Director grew up by the sea in England and has been living in mountainous Mbabane for 8 years. He is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the organisation, from new partnerships and resource streams, to new opportunities and implementation models. Tom joined Kwakha Indvodza full time in 2015, to dedicate all his attention to growing the organisation. Before that he was a teacher and Head of English at Waterford Kamhlaba, the United World College of Southern Africa. He is a proud father of Joanna Khetsiwe Churchyard-Zwane. Tom’s interests include Squash, hiking, hosting and reading to his daughter. His favourite quote is “If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right” and “Experience or success breeds either experience or success.”
